We offer exclusive MBA requirement job postings for Employers/Recruiters - All MBA jobs, all the time.  We also offer banner advertising and "Featured MBA Job Postings," a service that advertises your job posting(s) as a link right on the MBA Job Seekers' pages.

We have also created a venue for online publication of professional and business oriented articles that are submitted by our MBA Job Seekers.  You can see firsthand their talents and read articles they have written to demonstrate their business savvy.  It's an excellent way to select the most skilled and outstanding MBA candidates to suit your needs.  No other online job site offers this service, which may help you find your next talented candidate(s).

In the near future, along with 30 day Job Postings, Featured MBA Job Postings, and Banner Advertising, we will be offering a Resume Database Search and a "MBA Resume Database & Job Posting Package" - the ultimate hiring packages.

4. How do I sign up as an employer?

In order to purchase MBA job postings and banner ads with MBAjobs.ca, you have to register as an employer.  You can sign up from the top menu under "Employers."

5. Once I have signed up, how do I edit my company information and contact information?

You can edit all of the above information under "My Profile" in your Account Manager.  After you log in, you will automatically be directed to the Account Manager homepage where you can find "My Profile" on the left.  After you edit accordingly, please click "Update."

6. Can I change the company name, which appears with my job postings?

You can change your Company Name in your Account Manager, under "My Profile."  After you edit your company information, click on "Update" at the bottom of the page.

7. How do I change my password?

You can change your password in your Account Manager, under "My Profile."  After you edit accordingly, please click "Update" at the bottom of the page.

8. What should I do if I forget my User ID and Password?

Go to the "Log In" page:

Forget your User ID?

If you have forgotten your User ID, which is your e-mail address, click on the "forgot your username?" link.

You will be prompted to answer three (3) questions:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • City/Province/Postal Code/Phone Number

If you answer correctly, the e-mail address you provided when registering will be displayed.

Forget your Password?
If you have forgotten your password:

  • Click on the "Forgot your password?" link. You will be prompted for your e-mail address
  • We will e-mail you a temporary password.
    It is highly recommended that you change this temporary password as soon as possible to a password of your choice.
    Please note that we only provide your password via e-mail for security reasons.

Forget both ID and Password?

Step 1
If you have forgotten your User ID, which is your e-mail address, click on the "Forgot your username?" link.

You will be prompted to answer three (3) questions:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • City

If you answer correctly, the e-mail address you provided when registering will be displayed.

Step 2
If that e-mail address is still valid, click on the "Forgot your password?" link, provide that e-mail address when prompted, and your password will be e-mailed to you.

IMPORTANT:
If that e-mail address is NO LONGER valid:

  • Please fax a copy of your Driver's License, along with a company phone number, to 1-877-522-2565
  • Supply us with as much of the following information as possible:
    • First name and last name
    • Street address
    • City, Province, Postal Code
    • Company's Phone Number
    • The non-valid e-mail address
    • The new valid e-mail address

We will find your account, update your e-mail address, and send you a temporary password.  It is highly recommended that you change this temporary password, as soon as possible, to a password of your choice.  That new e-mail address will become your new User ID.  Please note that we only provide your password via e-mail for security reasons.

9. How much does it cost to post a job on MBAjobs.ca?

Please refer to our "Job Postings" page for pricing details.

10. How long will each Job Posting stay on MBAjobs.ca?

It will be posted for 30 days.

11. Are there any restrictions on the Buy 5, Get One Free offer?

There are no time limitations on the offer; however, if you close your account the offer no longer stands.  The offer is non-transferable.

12. If I keep buying job postings, do I keep getting one free?

Yes.  The offer is continuous, i.e. buy 5 the 6th one is free; buy 12 the 6th and 12th are free; buy 18 the 6th, 12th and 18th are free, etc.

13. How do I claim the free job posting when I buy 5 job postings?

When 5 job postings are purchased, the next job posting is automatically free and waiting for you to claim it.  For instance, you have purchased 5 job postings at different times during an 8 month period, you purchase another job posting (6th) 5 months later - that is your free job posting.  No time limitations!  You can claim it any time as long as it is under the same account.  After the free job posting, you will start the Buy 5 Get 1 Free cycle again.

14. How do I purchase MBA Job Posting(s)?

  • Log-in
  • After you log-in, you will automatically be directed to the Account Manager's homepage
  • Click "Purchase New Job Posting" under "Job Postings" on the left menu

15. Are there any restrictions on job posting(s)?

Yes.  If you post a job, you are only allowed one job title per job posting.
Your 30-day job posting is only valid for the original job/position that was entered when you completed the posting process.   You cannot substitute jobs for the remaining days.

16. How can I find my job posting?

Click on "Search Jobs" at the top menu.  You can search by keywords, job posting date, location, industry, job category, or job terms.

You may also view your job posting(s) by going to your Account Manager, under "Job Postings - Current Job Postings" to see a list of your current job postings.

17. After I purchase a job posting(s) how long before I see it on the site?

Your posting should appear almost immediately after completing your order.

18. How do candidates apply for my Job Posting(s)?

During your registration with MBAjobs.ca, you may choose how you want MBA Job Seekers to apply for your positions:

1. The first option is directly on MBAjobs.ca.  You will receive an e-mail notification every time an applicant has applied to your job posting.  In your Account Manager, it shows the applicant's name with a link to his or her cover letter, resume, and the date of application.

2. If you want the applicant to apply via your Company's own Website, the other option for application is through a separate URL.  For this option, you must provide an accurate URL upon registration and your Account Manager would not have a record of the resumes and cover letters used by job applications.  You will see his or her name and the date of application in Account Manager.  An e-mail notification will also be sent to you when someone has applied via offsite application.

19. Will I get notified when MBA candidate(s) apply to my job postings?

Yes.  You will receive a MBA applicant alert e-mail to the e-mail address, stated in your Profile, every time a MBA candidate applies to your job posting.  Please make sure your e-mail address is current under "My Profile".

20. How do I modify or mark the position filled for my job posting(s)?

Employers may modify or mark the position filled at any time.

To do this:

  • Log into your Employer Account
  • Access your Account Manager Menu
  • Select "Current Job Postings" under the "Job Postings" option.
    This will provide a list of all jobs you have posted within the system.  
  • Then choose a job to modify accordingly.

21. After the job posting is marked Filled, can it be re-opened again?

Yes. Within the 30 days of your job posting, you may mark the position filled and re-open the job posting at any time.

22. What are the editing restrictions when modifying my job posting(s)?

Within the 30 days of your job posting you may edit any of the content within your posting, except the method of receiving resumes (on MBAjobs.ca or your Company Website) and the posting date if the job is posted.  However, if you want to renew the same job posting(s), there are no restrictions on editing before the job is posted again.

23. Where can I find out how many times my job posting(s) is being viewed and clicked?

  • Click "Job Postings" in your Account Manager, and click on "Current Job Postings"
    • Click "View/Hide" for the particular job posting that you are interested.
    • Towards the bottom, you will find "Job Posting Tracker" which shows the number of times your job posting is being viewed and clicked.

24. How do I know when my job posting(s) will expire?

MBAjobs will notify you, by e-mail, 7 days before your job posting's expiry date.  The e-mail notification will provide you with details as to when your expiration date is and the steps to renew your job posting(s).

25. Will I be notified when my job posting(s) is about to expire?

MBAjobs.ca keeps you well-informed about the time remaining on your job postings.  You will receive an e-mail notification 7 days before the expiration of your job posting, with a link to your expired job posting..  On the expiry date, you will also receive an expiry notification e-mail, with a link to your expired job posting.  It is a convenient way to renew you job postings, if needed.

26. How can I renew my Job Posting(s)?

If you would like to have your job posting(s) remain on our site for an additional 30 days, you can easily renew it within your Account Manager, without having to input all of your job data again.  And, your job posting goes right back to the beginning of the job list!

27. How much does it cost for renewing a job posting?

Job posting renewal costs the same as a new job posting and it would automatically count towards the "Buy 5 Gets 1 Free" credit.

28. How do I renew or change a job posting?

Existing job postings can be edited or renewed through the "Job Postings" section of your Account Manager.  (Please note that additional charges will apply.)

29. How do I expire a job posting?

If your job posting has been filled or you would like to take it down for other reasons:

  • Account Manager
    • Job Postings
      • Current jobs
        • Click on the job which you want to view
        • Select the "Mark this Position Filled" or "Delete" option

30. How do I find an old job posting?

All job postings are stored in your Account Manager, under "Renew Job Posting".  You can re-post and edit an expired job posting without having to input all of your job data again.  (Please note additional charges will apply.)

31. If I fill a position, can I use any time left on my job posting for a new job?

No.  Your 30-day job posting is only valid for the original job/position that was entered when you completed the posting process.  You cannot substitute jobs for the remaining days.

32. Can I search jobs and/or apply for jobs?

As an Employer, with an employer account, you have access to the job listings.  Therefore, you can search jobs;  however, you cannot apply for jobs.
If you wish to apply for a job, you must create a Job Seeker account with a different e-mail address, and log-in through that account.

33. How do I attract more candidates to my job posting?

To improve the response to your job posting, try editing your wording to include as much relevant information as possible to help Job Seekers find your posting.  Changing the Category may also improve the response.  You should also verify that the e-mail address is functioning. 

Purchasing a Featured MBA Job Posting is a great way to attract MBA Job Seekers to your job(s).  It advertises your job posting(s) as a link right in the high traffic MBA Job Seeker sections.

34. I would like to add my company logo in the job posting, how do I do that?

  1. Before you purchase a job posting:
    Go to "My Profile," make sure your company logo is attached.  If not, add your company logo and click "Update."
  2. During the purchase of job posting, if you don't see your company logo and would like to add it in the job posting, you should first finish the purchase process without the company logo.  
  3. Then go to "My Profile" and add your company logo and click "Update."  Immediately, you should see your job posting with your company logo in the "Search Jobs" section.

35. If I would like to attach my company’s logo to my job posting, what is the allowed image size and format?

To have your company's logo appear on your job posting, the logo image must be a maximum of 120 x 60 pixels and a 10,000 byte file size.  If your image exceeds these limitations, the system will automatically scale down your image.  The allowable image formats are GIF and JPEG.

36. If I want my company information (such as company name and logo) to remain confidential on my job posting, how do I do that?

When you are purchasing a job posting, you will be asked if you wish to display your company name/logo on the job posting.  After the job is posted, you can go to your job posting in Account Manager and turn on/off of this option as well.

37. What is “Featured MBA Job Posting” and how much does it cost to post a Featured MBA Job Posting?

When you order your MBA job posting online, you can simply add "Featured MBA Job Posting" in the purchase form.

40. How come I cannot see my featured job posting?

It is only viewable by MBA job seekers.  You will only be able to see this as a job seeker, similar to Featured MBA Seekers are only to viewable to employers.

41. I have purchased a MBA job posting, which is still within its 30-day posting period. How do I add the Featured MBA Job Posting to it? And how much would it cost?

You can add "Featured MBA Job Posting" anytime within the 30 days posting period, under "Current Jobs" in your Account Manager.

    • Towards the bottom, you will find "Featured Job Tracker" which shows the number of times your Featured Job is being viewed and clicked.

43. How do I view the resumes of Featured MBA Job Seekers and Article Authors?

To view these resumes you must first log-in. Then, if you have currently purchased any of our services, you will have exclusive access to the resumes.

  • Click over "Banner Advertising" in your Account Manager, and click "Current Banner Ads" 
    • Click "View/Hide" for the particular Banner Ad that you are interested.
    • Towards the bottom, you will find "Banner Ad Tracker" which shows the number of times your job posting is being viewed and clicked.

49. Why was I logged out of my account?

Due to inactivity after "120" minutes, you will automatically be logged out of your account.  You will be prompted to log-in again to continue

50. How do I access my Shopping Cart?

In your Account Manager, click on "Shopping Cart." 

If you are at the Check-Out process, you can continue to add more items to your cart and once you are ready to pay, click on your Shopping Cart to finalize your payment.

51. How do I delete my account with MBAjobs.ca?

Deleting an account is a permanent action and non-reversible.  
All account data and history will be deleted and we are unable to retrieve accounts that have been deleted.  If you decide to delete your account permanently, please click Delete My Account

52. What payment methods do you accept?

Upon approval, you will see both credit card and invoice options in your shopping cart.
If the invoice option is approved, we would like to offer it in a continuous basis if the account balance is in a satisfactory standing.  However, if the account balance is not in a satisfactory standing, we reserve the right to cancel it any time.

54. Is your website secure for credit-card processing?

Yes.  Our Web site utilizes industry standard 128/256 bit secure sockets layer (SSL) encryption to ensure that your sensitive data cannot be tampered with or forged and is transmitted safely and securely with strong encryption.  We do not store any credit card numbers, and recurring payment transactions are entrusted by major payment processors.

For best visual appeal when copying, pasting, and printing resumes, we recommend performing these functions with Internet Explorer which results in displaying a nice layout with light-blue title bars for each section of the resume.
